The ABC network has ordered the production of a pilot based on the Fables, a comic book from DC Comics created by Bill Willingham. The story focuses on a few personalities from the world of fairy tales and folklore that are forced to live in exile in a hidden community of the New York City. The developers of the show, Stu Zicherman and Raven Metzner, have not yet decided which fairy tale characters will have a central role in the television series.
